  • Consume clarified butter (Ghee) with black pepper daily.
  • Continue it for at least 21 days.

  • You should daily take gram flour chapati (without adding salt) 
  • Repeat this remedy for at least three months continuously.

"Prevention is better than cure." It is the most appropriate habit that one must adapt to. So here we have given certain things that can prevent the occurrence of toenail infection. 

  • Do not cut out the infected nail on your own (It may lead to further spread).
  • Wash and apply a bandage on any nail injury.
  • Remove any artificial nail if applied.
  • Soak the foot in warm water and salt occasionally.
  • Keep your feet dry.
  • Ask for disinfected tools in pedicures centers.
  • Do not over-cut your toenails. (As bacteria may enter the skin)
  • Moisturize the nails after washing.
  • Wear footwear in the pool areas/locker rooms.
  • Wear shoes of breathable fabric or with sweat absorbent material.
  • Change your socks regularly to ensure hygiene.
  • Do not touch toenails with your hands.
  • Do not apply chemical-based nail polish as it will trap moisture (that may worsen the infection).
