Do's
- Practice frequent hand wash. Wash hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub. You must wash your hands even if they are visibly clean.
- Cover your nose and mouth with a handkerchief while sneezing and coughing
- Throw used tissues into closed bins immediately after use. Go and visit the nearest doctor if you feel unwell (fever, difficult breathing, and cough). While visiting the doctor do not forget to wear a mask to cover your mouth and nose.

- Avoid participating in large gatherings
Don'ts
- Have close contact with anyone if you're experiencing cough and fever.
- Touch your eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands.

here are some of the best measures for enhancing immunity at home.
- Drink warm water throughout the day.
- Daily practice of Yogasana, Pranayama, and Meditation for at least 30 minutes.
- Spices like Haldi (Turmeric), Jeera (Cumin), Dhaniya (Coriander), and Lahsun (Garlic) are recommended in cooking.
Ayurvedic Immunity Enhancing Tips
- Take Chyavanprash 10gm (1tsp) in the morning. Diabetics should take sugar-free Chyavanprash.
- Drink Herbal Tea/Decoction (Kadha) made from Tulsi (Basil), Dalchini (Cinnamon), Kalimirch (Black Pepper), Shunthi (Dry Ginger), and Munakka (Raisin) - once or twice a day. You can also add jaggery (Natural Sugar) or fresh Lemon Juice to get your taste if is required.
- Golden Milk-Add half teaspoon Haldi (Turmeric) powder in 150 ml of hot milk – take it once or twice a day.
- Steam inhalation with fresh Pudina (Mint) leaves or Ajwain (Caraway Seeds) can be practiced once a day.
- Nasal Application- Apply Sesame Oil/Coconut oil or Ghee in both the nostrils (Pratimarsh Nasya) in the morning and evening.
- Oil Pulling Therapy- Take 1 tablespoon of Sesame or Coconut Oil in the mouth. Do not drink, swish in the mouth for 2 to 3 minutes and spit it off followed by a warm water rinse. This can be done once or twice a day.
- Lavang (Clove) powder mixed with Natural Sugar/Honey can be taken 2-3 times a day in case of cough or throat irritation.
