Causes of cough
A cough can be caused by several conditions, both temporary and permanent for example:
Throat cleansing

- Stay away from smoke particles.
- To relieve coughing and clear your airway, add honey or ginger to hot tea.
- Use decongestant sprays to clear your nose and make breathing easier.
- Use a tissue or handkerchief to cough or sneeze into.
- To avoid infection, wash your hands frequently with soap.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth.
- To boost immunity, drink plenty of fluids and eat a healthy diet.
- Keep your distance from others to avoid spreading colds and coughs.
- Give up smoking: Cigarette smoking is a common cause of a chronic cough. Curing a smoker's cough can be extremely difficult. - Take 10 gm of roasted alum (Fitkari) and take 100 gms of desi jaggery powder
- Grind and mix it well then later convert it into 14 small packets. And if you have a dry cough then take a single packet with 125 gm of hot milk before sleeping
- In the case of wet cough take 1 packet with 125 gm of hot water before sleeping.
- Take ginger juice (through the grating and extracting in a cloth) and honey. Warm the mixture a bit. And lick that mixture 4-5 times a day. You will see your cough will disappear in a matter of 3-4 days.
